The Gaylord National is adjacent to the Potomac River and the National Harbor shopping and dining district. This 41-acre, smoke-free property is set on the banks of the Potomac River. An 18-story barrel-vaulted glass atrium crowns the hotel, providing panoramic views of national monuments, historic landmarks and the Potomac River.

Deposits
All individual reservations must be accompanied by one night's deposit plus tax or guaranteed by a major credit card (and Hotel will charge the attendee's credit card for one night's stay at time of reservation).  After this date, they will be confirmed on a space-available basis at the prevailing group rate.  Deposits are only refundable for cancellations occurring three days prior to arrival. The hotel accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner’s Club/Carte Blanch, and/or Discover credit cards. 

Additionally, to expedite your check-in and check-out process, credit card numbers, along with an address for each guest, are strongly recommended for all reservation types.

Check-in and check-out times
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. local time.  Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. local time.  Anyone checking out after 11:00 a.m. local time may incur late charges.  Special arrangements can be made for late check-outs based on availability, and/or luggage can be stored for individuals with later departures.

Gaylord National is a non-smoking facility. To preserve the pristine condition of its resort, smoking is prohibited in all guest rooms, restaurants, lounges, meeting rooms and interior public spaces. If you smoke, you will be charged a substantial cleaning fee to return the room to its proper condition.
