Special group registration (qualified attendees only) must be approved in advance by the Navy League. A "government-issued" photo ID and business identification are required upon check-in.
How can I purchase tickets for the Sea-Air-Space luncheons?
Complimentary tickets to the luncheons will be available each day, without charge, to the first 400 registered and badged military/government attendees for that day. All other attendees may purchase luncheon tickets onsite at the registration desk. Prior to the event, you can obtain tickets by contacting info@seaairspace.org. Someone on staff at the Navy League will get back to you with information for purchasing tickets to these events.
What is a Widely Attended Gathering (WAG), and how can I get approval to attend Sea-Air-Space?
According to the Office of Government Ethics rules, an event qualifies as a widely attended gathering as follows: “A gathering is widely attended if it is expected that a large number of persons will attend and that persons with a diversity of views or interests will be present, for example, if it is open to members from throughout the interested industry or profession or if those in attendance represent a range of persons interested in a given matter.”
As of 2010, the most recent interpretation of joint regulations in the Office of the Secretary of Defense which has been established going forward, indicates that it is incumbent on attendees from each government agency to determine whether it is permissible to attend the exposition.
Please use the Sea-Air-Space Exposition WAG profile to assist prospective attendees and their ethics counselor as to whether they can attend.
