Who can attend the Sea-Air-Space Exposition?

The Sea-Air-Space Exposition is free and open to the following qualified attendees:
  • Active duty, reserve and retired U.S. Military
  • U.S. federal, state and local government employees
  • Members of Congress and their staff
  • Representatives of foreign embassies
  • Representatives of exhibiting companies
  • Navy League members
  • Invited guests of the Navy League

The Sea-Air-Space Exposition is not open to the public. Children over the age of 15 may attend the exposition provided they are accompanied by an adult at all times. No one under the age of 18 is permitted in the exhibit halls during installation or dismantle hours.

What forms of ID are required to attend the Sea-Air-Space Exposition?

Attendees must display an official badge at all times. No badges will be mailed in advance. To pick up a badge, attendees must present two forms of ID at registration. One must be a government issued photo ID and the other a corporate, organization or military ID.

  • U.S. Government ID
  • Passport
  • Corporate Name Badge

What is the attire for the Sea-Air-Space Exposition?

Attendees and Speakers:
Military - Uniform of the Day
Civilian - Business Attire
 
Sea-Air-Space Reception and Banquet:
Military - Evening/Dinner Dress
Civilian - Black Tie

How can I purchase Sea-Air-Space Luncheon tickets?

Complimentary tickets to the daily luncheons will be available each day, without charge, to the first 400 registered military or government attendees (with a badge) for that day. All other attendees may purchase luncheon tickets in advance through the registration process or onsite at the registration desk.

What is a Widely Attended Gathering (WAG)?

According to the Office of Government Ethics rules, an event qualifies as a widely attended gathering as follows: “A gathering is widely attended if it is expected that a large number of persons will attend and that persons with a diversity of views or interests will be present, for example, if it is open to members from throughout the interested industry or profession or if those in attendance represent a range of persons interested in a given matter.

What am I allowed to bring to the Sea-Air-Space Exposition?

You are allowed to bring any normal business equipment to include items such as cell phones, laptops, PDAs, iPads, etc. You are not allowed to bring items that possess a security threat such as guns, knives or other types of weapons. All food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, must be purchased or provided through the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. All bags are subject to search at the show management’s discretion.
 
Camera Policy: Photography and videography in the Exhibit Hall and Outdoor Display area are strictly prohibited, with the exception of Sea-Air-Space Official Photographers and Navy League registered media. Any photography and videography devices are subject to confiscation. Exhibitors wishing to photograph their own display may contact photography services through the Official Sea-Air-Space Photographer or may take snap shots BEFORE or AFTER show hours. Exhibitors are ONLY allowed to photograph their own display.
 
Approved camera tags for press will be RED and will be given out in the Media Room.
